My Professional Journey

My work experience as a recruiter and communications coordinator has helped me maintain a career path within the University of Houston. Within my role I recruit and promote our graduate and post baccalaureate accounting programs through webinar presentations, open houses, etc. Over the past few years I have improved my communication skills, organizational skills and being able to handle many projects.

Working in a collaborative environment I have been given the opportunity to use my leadership skills to help train new staff members and instructional assistants by providing feedback, instruction, and guidance to help them excel in their current role. I have traveled to recruitment events across Texas in an effort to represent the graduate accounting program and have attended conferences that have helped to further develop my professional skills.

During my time in the communications department for the University of Houston Facilities/Construction Management, I have gained a variety of skills in graphic design, website content management system, marketing, event coordination and customer service.

I continue to uphold the brand standards that the University has set in motion by providing excellent customer service. My three awards indicate the level of dedication, commitment, and standards that I implement every day in my work.
